![]() Three year later, as soon as the beta program opened, we jumped right in! So far it has exceeded our expectations in every way. We never stopped following Minecraft Education Edition though, hoping one day it would open up more. We took the best alternative to create a Minecraft course but were not able to offer it to younger kids due to the complexity of the system. Unfortunately, we are not a K-12 school, hence could not get it for our students. Even at that time, it was evident that Minecraft Education Edition was the clear winner with its smooth integration between its coding component and Minecraft itself. We evaluated a dozen platforms for the course. So naturally, coding for Minecraft is one of the very first courses we wanted to develop when we first started.
